If you grew up in the 90s, you know the iconic thin brows that were all the rage. So many of us fell for this trend! I am also a product of that era. Personally I blame Gwen Stephanie. The first time I saw her on the screen I thought she was the coolest looking person I had ever seen! Fast forward- I now find myself with sparse brows and I look nothing like Gwen Stephanie. My grandma even warned me- she was a product of the very same trend from the 30's. If only I had listened to Grandma!

THANK GOODNESS for Brow Tint! The best gamechanger yet for me and many others who regret the choices of our youth. It's an incredible trick to keep our brows looking fuller, beautifully shaped, and more realistic.

One of my favorite ways to use brow tint is before bed- then it can fade to look more natural in the morning. Ladies we all know the sharpie look was never in! Apply the tint- I make sure to stay in my brow line and use damp Q-tips to wipe excess and line the edges, then let it set to desired preference- this is a bit of a learning curve to figure out what you like. I prefer less time works best for me.

Brow tint is a secret weapon- I still use a bit of powder to lightly fill in with a brush- I always apply with a brush- again, avoiding the sharpie look...and then use a spoolie to brush them out. This makes for a very full but natural brow!

With all said, this trend will probably come back- let's hope the next generation listens to us... but who are we fooling !
